I have none. Kinda.
Okay, I currently have two weeks of classes and one week of finals left, which really is not that bad compared to other people I know. However, the past few weeks have been ridiculously busy and up until the end I have papers and projects due, as well as social obligations and things in my daily routine that I must complete, like the gym. The little things I do during the day, like meeting my sisters for lunch or procrastinating on work in the chapter room with them, get me through the weeks of mindless studying and writing. Being able to look forward to events in the future are also helpful motivators; if I get an assignment done, that is one less thing to worry about and I can focus on having fun.
Now, on to Judaism! Considering how that is one of the topics I wanted to address in this blog is Judaism, I might as well talk about it. Well, I am a member on the E-Board of the Hillel on campus. I did it to remain connected to my Jewish background, however it is not proving to be as beneficial as I expected it to be. There are not many Jewish students on campus and so it has been difficult to raise awareness and get new members to come to our events. It is disheartening because I did it to get involved, but we are not having a positive response. I will still be on the E-Board for next year, so hopefully we can figure out innovative ways to get people to come out to our events and learn about our religion.
Ok. Rant done. And now I'm tired so I promise I will post again soon.. last week was super busy so I couldn't, oops!
XO,
J.
